Peak Coach is a coaching app run in the UK. It lets you follow the training and food plan your coach sets, log what you do, and talk to your coach. This page explains what we keep, why, and your rights.
What we keep
- Your name, email address and password (stored scrambled, never readable).
- What you log: workouts, food, water, steps, sleep, weight, body measurements and cardio.
- Your check-ins, progress photos, journal entries and the answers you give when you join.
- Messages, photos and voice notes you send your coach, and questions you ask Help.
- Basic technical information needed to run the app, such as when you last opened it.
Why we keep it
Only to coach you: so you and your coach can see your plan and progress, and so the app can remind you and help you. We don't sell your data, show you adverts, or share it with anyone for marketing. Your coach can see what you log, except journal entries you mark as private.
Some of this is health information. We use it because you choose to give it to us to get coached, and you can delete it at any time.
Who helps us run it
- Supabase: our database, hosted in Ireland (EU).
- Vercel: hosts the app, in Dublin.
- Resend: sends the app's emails.
- Anthropic: powers the AI features (Help answers, describing or photographing a meal to log it, and check-in summaries for your coach). Only what's needed for that request is sent, and it isn't used to train their models.
- Open Food Facts: when you scan a barcode, the barcode number is looked up. Nothing about you is sent.
- MuscleWiki: exercise demo videos play from their service. Nothing about you is sent.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, everything above is deleted straight away, apart from anything we must keep by law (for example payment records).
Your rights
You can see, correct, download or delete your data. You can delete your account yourself in the app under More, then Delete my account. For anything else, email us. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
